Mike Rose Soccer Complex Rules and Regulations

League Officials and Shelby County Government have requested that we post the following rules and regulations:


Please help us enforce these safety rules by informing others who are unaware of the rules.  These rules are in place for the safety and comfort of all our participants and spectators and mandated by our insurance advisors.  Thank you for your compliance.

All events at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex are subject to a parking charge.  A weekend pass will be given and should be displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle. $5 per car / $30 per Bus/RV (no overnight parking) PARKING WILL INCREASE TO $10 AND $40 EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2018

During events traffic runs ONE WAY throughout the complex entering from Forest Hill Irene Road and exiting onto Shelby Drive.

As suggested by Shelby County Sheriffs we urge our patrons to use the “PARK SMART” program.  Lock your vehicle, remove valuables and report suspicious behavior. 


  • No outside food/beverage delivery or catering allowed
  • No grills or cooking allowed in complex
  • No Tailgating
  • No alcohol


  • No Drones or flying objects as per FAA
  • No unauthorized vehicles on cart paths
  • No overnight parking of cars, RV’s or buses
  • No parking on main road and entrances into parking areas. Park only in designated spaces due to emergency vehicle access


  • No smoking in playing field area. The playing field area includes any vicinity within the white fence.
  • No dogs or other animals in the playing field areas (pets allowed in lake area)
  • No bicycles, skateboards or scooters in the field areas or pathways
  • No team benches allowed in the middle of the larger fields set up as small-sided (7v7/9v9).  Teams and benches MUST stay on the outside of the field on the parent side. This policy is in place to help preserve the fields throughout the year.
  • No entry onto playing fields by persons not authorized.  This includes cutting across and warming up on closed fields. In order to maintain the highest standard for play, fields must be given time to recover.  This policy will be strictly enforced and your cooperation is appreciated.
  • No fires of any kind, including fuel or electric heaters 


  • No profanity, vulgar language or fighting
  • No alcohol or drugs
  • No swimming or wading in the lake
  • No climbing on backstop nets or trees
  • No weapons of any kind
  • No solicitation of any type
  • No littering
  • No destruction or damage to property including climbing over the white fence
  • No unauthorized fireworks or other explosive devices  
Lake Area Rules and Restrictions

The following are permitted in the lake area only.  The lake area is located in the southwest corner of the complex.

Bicycles: Helmet use is mandatory
Skateboards: Helmets, elbow pads and knee pads are mandatory.
Scooters: Helmets, elbow pads and knee pads are mandatory.
Pet Walking: Pets must be on a leash at all times.  For health and safety reasons, pet owners shall be responsible for removing droppings and other waste from the lake area.  This includes all grass and pathway areas.
Visitors: NO swimming in the lake

MRSC Management reserves the right to amend these rules as necessary.

MRSC Management shall have final ruling over all complex issues, including any issues/rules not addressed in these regulations.

Failure to comply will result in actions that may include, but are not limited to, disciplinary hearings, ejection from facility and/or arrest.
